John Barera

John Barera (2MR/Allergy Season/Dolly/Sorry Records) is a DJ, Producer & Label owner based in NYC. His sound is rooted in techno and house’s most classic iterations: sturdy, barreling grooves, shimmering pads, deep liquid dubs and the occasional acid burn.
Barera has been active as a DJ for over 15 years and has been releasing music since 2011. Resident Advisor called him one of the "New York techno scene's hardest-working DJs.” He is the co-founder of JACK DEPT, the techno/acid label with Volvox, co-founder of Supply Records, member of B-Tracks and an internationally touring DJ. He runs his own label called Cross Street Music.
