Lorenz Rhode’s style - funk with a particular love for chord progressions - runs through all the different things he’s working on: EP’s on Compost (talkbox classic ‚Back‘), Exploited (single of the month in Mixmag) and Dirt Crew (#1 on Traxsource); Co-writing the Dam Swindle album ‚High Life‘, frequently collaborating with Purple Disco Machine („At The Disko“, „Groovejet“ remix for Defected). As a live artist he toured the world solo and with DS, Jamie Lidell or PDM, opening for Jamiroquai with the latter.
