M.ono

M.ono, pronounced [ɛm|dɒt|oːno:], is a DJ and producer based in Leipzig, Germany. He is one of the founders of Rose Records which was formed in 2011.
As a youngster M.ono was inspired by the House, Drum & Bass and Hip Hop sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s. His deep love and appreciation for music across all genres and eras are an inspiration for his productions which can be seen as sunny, emotional house tracks often with big piano chords and funky swinging basslines. Easydance – M.ono’s first Artist EP on Rose Records – was very well-received and supported by DJs like Move-D, Moomin, Wolf Music and DJ Koze. The most successful track on this EP ‘Holding Back California’ was exclusively licensed for Move D ́s Fabric Mix CD. In collaboration with his label partner Luvless he produced tracks for labels like Kolour Recordings, Dirt Crew Recordings, Ors, Ourselves, Traxx Underground, Tsuba and Rose Records under the synonym of ‘M.ono & Luvless’.
