After having the solo EP by Elisa Elisa on repeat here at Heist HQ, we’re now releasing a bonus remix just in time for summer by club Bad owner and man of the moment Melé. It’s fitting that he was so enthusiastic about this release and chose to remix ‘You no good to me’, since he just released an EP by Elisa Elisa himself on his excellent ‘Club Bad’ imprint. His version is a bubbly electronic affair that has his worldly percussive style all over it. He cleverly chops Elisa Elisa’s vocal and adds layers and layers of tropical bad-assery on a track that grooves like Brazilian carnival and packs a punch like the Liverpool warehouse parties Melé grew up with.
